Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast runs 125 miles (202 km) from the northern Nicaraguan border to the southern border with Panama, the Caribbean is home of the famous Tortuguero National Park.
It has a typical hot climate and it’s very humid, with an average annual temperature of 25.5º C.
Costa Rica’s highest peaks are located in the southern part of the Limon province, in the Talamanca mountain range. The Chirripó hill is 3.820 m high and its temperature drops down to zero degrees Celsius at night, during dry season.
