Gray-Chested Dove

The Gray-chested Dove (Leptotila cassinii) is found in Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical forest. They live in coffee, cacao plantations or in evergreen lowlands forest (approximately 1000 m elevation) and is always observed singly or in pairs. Adults are 25 cm in height (10 inches) and 165 g in weigh.

It has a grey chest, crown and hind neck, with brown wings and tail and red feet. Is diet is of fruits, seeds and grits.
