Dickcissel

The Dickcissel (Spiza americana) breeds in some parts of United States and Canada, and in winters lives from Mexico to South America. It is found in rice-growing areas, in favors open, and grassy areas. It is 15 cm (6 inches) in height and 28 g in height.

Adult’s head is grayish, with the crown tingled with olive and streaked with black. Rest of upperparts pale brown, and back streaked with black. Tail and wings dusky, center of breast bright yellown, and brown legs. It eats seeds
