Black-billed Cuckoo

The Black-Billed Cuckoo (Coccyzus erythropthalmus) breeds in Canada and Northeast United States. In winter it lives from North Venezuela and North Colombia to Bolivia. This migrant lives prefers scrubby areas and forest edge. Its measures are of 30 cm (12 inches) in height and 43 g in height.

It is above grayish-brown and below dull white. Bill black except blue-gray base of lower mandible and legs blue-gray. Its diet is based on caterpillars and katydids
